In our first year the Design Communication cohort collaborated with the Hocken Library to create a print publication centered around different artefacts in the library. We were each given an artefact and expected to deliver two 2 page spreads designed for print on the risograph printer. DUST was a finalist in the 2017 Best Awards for the Student Graphics category; it was amazing to be involved in a project that went further than our local context, and this experience spurred me on to push the envelope for all of my future projects.
